John Kerr lodge named after the salmon pool just 100 meters up river has a large spacious, comfy sitting room/ dining room with well equipped fitted kitchen. Furnished to a high standard with large comfortable sofa and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge etc. and breakfast bar. The bedrooms are very large and are set as a double and a twin or two twins. The beds being zip and link form into a super king size or into comfortable singles. Extra beds and cot are available.

Bathroom/WC with shower over the bath and a great added benefit of this lodge is the utility room complete with washer/dryer and chest freezer (for that all important catch!)

A wealth of activities are available in this lovely area. The lodges are situated meters from the southern Upland Way and provide an ideal base for walking, bird watching, salmon and trout fishing, golfing on the local course or at world-famous Troon or Turnberry, to canoeing on the River Nith – some of the best white-water in Scotland – or gold panning in the scenic Mennock Valley.
